I suggest we start a thread on this subject. Here goes...

Short story is that civic authorities (as in Barcelona, as in Beijing, as in Toronto, as in Vancouver) have this habit of making life difficult for anything sexual. I talked to a sex magazine, book and DVD seller in Burnaby, BC and he was paying five times higher a business license fee than everyone else.
If you ask me, dolls are not just sexual and artistic, there is a social/political element. In my view opposition to any fantasy sex toys is a combination of Christian, PC 'liberal' and feminist conservatism.
My position is to encourage Cannabis Culture style (e.g. Marc Emery) civil disobedience against unfair practices by the government and the mob.
As far as I know the only legally existing doll rental service in Canada is in Kamloops, BC. I believe there is a huge underserved market worldwide.
Resist puritanism! And all success to those who profit from doing so!
