Hello Sender,
I can confirm that TPE products have a more or less pleasant smell according to brands, in the long run it disappears.
Note also that the TPE is an elastomer when fresh molded it releases an oil that can also take some time to disappear.
Anyway all kind of plastic have a odor, this is like a new car.

The question you need is: Is it approved by Health Canada?
At GomDoll Canada we only sell original products and approved by Health Canada such as WMdoll, JYdoll, etc.
Be careful because on the walk there is a lot of copy and not approved by FDA

Also keep in mind the TPE used for cheap dolls has a tendency to stay with the doll. It might fade over time but can still have a slight odor that doesn't go away. This is not a good thing especially when sleeping with her, you're constantly breathing in that odor and it can cause headaches or nausea. Stick with OEM brands. The better quality dolls have a nice TPE odor that goes away after a few days or a week.

My first doll took almost 1 year in 2015
I gave him a bath every month
I think more dolls is expensive, more quality will be there !

it's normal for a new doll to smell a little,so you can't use it immediately at the begaining, you can only use it after a few days!

I've notice with my doll that the TPE didn't really smell but the wig did (kind of manufacture chemical smell with synthetic wig). So I did a shampoo to her wig and solve the problem.
